LONG LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT COURSE (LLMC)

It is well known fact that without good logistics support no war can be fought effectively. As in time of war, it is the Logistics Branch that provides a silent service to execute battle design, effectively by mustering all available resources. Most of the Officers of Logistics Branch in Sri Lanka Navy have acquired enough exposure both locally and internationally through formal training to improve their background knowledge and are relatively conversant with new systems and concepts. The main aim of logistics branch training is to arm logistics officers with necessary skills and professionalism to serve the nation confidently and efficiently be it in war or peace time.

The Long Logistics Management Course (LLMC) is the highest logistics professional Specialization Course for the Officers of the Logstics Branch in Sri Lanka Navy. The LLMC is conducted at the Naval & Maritime Academy in Trincomalee, the premier training academy of Sri Lanka Navy. This is a full time course leading for a Master of Bussiness Administration in Logistics Management Degree MBA (LM) offered by the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU).
